The Phototool film(artwork
film, working film), which carries the circuit layout to be
etched into the PCB, can be contaminated with particles during
production, storage, or by handling.
These particles may corrupt the final image exposed onto the
Photoresist film, and eventually cause board rejection or
failure.
It should also be laminated with protection film (Phototool
protection film) to prolong their usage / life and to ensure
consistently accurate photo-imaging.
The adhesive on this tape must be UV stable as well as:
